Brixton Village, AI Brixton & this week's best events
This week Lambeth Council listed Brixton Village and Market Row as Assets of Community Value. If you missed it, it’s an important milestone. It doesn’t stop a sale or reduce the price, but it does give the community time to organise, the opportunity to bid and hopefully signals to investors this asset is sacred. It’s a significant step forward.
Introducing AI Brixton
AI will change how we work, learn and build businesses—and Brixton shouldn’t be watching from the sidelines.
On 17 July, Impact Brixton is bringing together founders, creatives, residents, educators and businesses for the first AI Brixton Town Hall, in partnership with Stripe.
We’ll explore the opportunities, the risks and one big question: how do we make sure Brixton benefits from the AI era rather than gets left behind?
If that’s a conversation you want to be part of, we’d love to see you there.
