Brixton Culture Capital 30.04.2026
BCC Bar opens. Disco Festival takes over. New rooftops, new restaurants. The ultimate bank holiday lineup in Brixton.
Brixton Culture Capital is stepping off the page and into real life. This Friday, 1 May, the BCC Bar opens as the founding members meet to kick things off. It’s a new space for builders, operators and the people shaping what Brixton becomes next. It’s fully RSVP’d, but to mark the opening we’re giving two BCC readers guest passes. Email life@brixtonculturecapital.com with the subject BCC Bar. First come, first served.
Brixton has always had secret rooms. This is the latest — but this one has a purpose.
We’ve also hit a tipping point. There are now so many events happening across Brixton each week that it no longer fits into a single newsletter.
So we built something new.
A single place where everything happening in Brixton lives — updated weekly, carefully curated, and easy to navigate. Explore it here. If you’re planning your week, start there.

🕒 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Brixton Windmill’s Mayfest brings seasonal folk traditions into Windmill Gardens: Morris dancing, maypole, brass band music, food, drink, kids’ activities, craft workshops, milling demos and a Jack in the Green parade.
